Scripting in unit change at distance?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if it's possible and if so how to do the following:

Have a trigger fixed to a unit so that when a civilian gets within a certain distance (say 100 meters) it becomes hostile and the unit will engage, but at the same time is it possible to script in randomness of the civilian units breaking that boundry (some strive to stay out of it, others will ignore it)?

Also is it possible to make mobile IEDS like cars that drive upto units and the detonate?

Yes, that's all possible. No, none of it's easy. There's plenty of examples around though. Static VBIEDs are probably the easiest to start with. Then maybe a specific bomber unit. I get the sense that civilian units in A3 aren't quite ready though, so not sure if things that worked in A2 will work the same in A3 with regards to them but I haven't really played with it much yet.
