Lindsey 1 Posted May 30, 2013 (edited) *Recruitment Has Re-Opened!* 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment The 1/6 strives to be a hardcore realism unit in-game, while laid back outside of it. We strive to hold the values and ways of the real United States Marine Corps as best we can using AII and OA. The 1/6 has a real USMC ranking structure, has extremely realistic trainings and campaigns/deployments. We require HIGH activity and dedication from all of our members to make our unit one of the most professional in the ArmA community. When in battle we operate as real marines would. We use radio callsigns and maneuvers you learn in training that real life marines would use. We will always be recruiting and accepting new members. The 1/6 offers an extremely realistic battlefield experience and would love to welcome any member who meets our application requirements. The 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment also has supporting elements, if infantry is not your preferred play style. The 1/6 has two attached units for support purposes. Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267 is our attached helicopter support and 3rd Plt., D Coy., 2nd Assault Amphibious Btn. is our Amphibious Assault Vehicle platoon for naval landings and extra protection when the situation merits. Requirements for Applying:1) Have Teampseak 32) Have a legitimate copy of ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead3) Be at least 15 years of age (exceptions are possible with a sponsor)4) Agree to download the mods necessary to attend trainings, operations, and other events once accepted into the unit5) Have utmost maturity6) If you are non North American you MUST be able to attend NA times (Sorry Euros)7) Know that you are getting into a very serious Realism Unit and that you should be aware all actions have repercussions, good or bad8) You must know how to be serious and when not to be.
