Expansion (Mod loading) no longer Enabling Mods! HELP

Recommended Posts

*Apologies if this is in the wrong area, but my issue isn't concerned with a particular mod, but rather all of them*

ARMA2 COMBINED OPERATIONS - STEAM

All of a sudden none of the mods I have added are enabling. They appear in the Expansions, I select them (individually) and click enable, the game reloads but the most recent mods are still showing inactive. This is not affecting any existing mods as far as I can tell; they are all still working fine.

I've tried retracing my steps.

RECENT CHANGES:

(1) I've had the ACE mod for awhile. Works fine. But I recently changed my ACE Interaction key to the Left Windows button. Of course I ran the clippi tool to save the modifications, but I'm not sure if something in this process could have changed how the game loads.

(2) I downloaded a map called Tavania, which required running an installer. But I'm not sure if the issue was in place before this as this was apart of the first group of downloads that failed. Subsequently, I've removed the initial group of mods that failed, downloaded a new group and none are working there as well.

(3) I've recently made adjustments to video quality increasing a number of the variables to very high.

I've tried removing all mod folders added within the last month, but to no avail. I've also tried just loading each mod individually, but nothing. I'm sure that its something I've inadvertently changed as everything was working fine a week ago. I don't assume that there are limits to how many mods can be enabled at a given time. I've searched for the issue but the terminology I use to describe it hasn't returned any results. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are you starting the game from within Steam or with a dedicated shortcut/batch file? It sounds almost as if your mods have been added to the command line that starts the game. I'd suggest looking at the "startup parameters" or whatever it is called in Steam or the shortcut or batch file you run the game with. If there is a "-mod" option somewhere in there, this will override any changes you make in the "Expansions" settings within the game.
