pooroldspike 129 Posted April 19, 2013 My 4-yr-old 28" HannsG LCD monitor seems to be on its last legs, I'm getting picture flickering whatever I'm doing such as surfing, watching youtubes or playing AA2 etc, so if it doesn't clear up i'll have to splash out on a new one, preferaby the same size. I'm not a monitor expert, so shall I just buy any type, or should I get one that says on the box that it's made for gameplaying?
Richie 330 Posted April 20, 2013 Go for one with the highest contrast ratio, highest resolution (1080p is better than 720p) and the lowest response time. IPS Vs TN isn't too important for games but IPS is better. This fits the bill nicely but it's 24" http://www.cclonline.com/product/89593/UM-FG6EE-B01/Monitors/Acer-G6-Series-G246HLBbid-24-inch-Full-HD-LED-Monitor/MON1083/ 24" is around the mark where prices are sensible, anything above is expensive. Guest Posted April 20, 2013 Buying a new monitor has to do with "ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING" exactly how?
