Your Mission is to arrest Alexei Volkoff and Destroy the Radar Station! WCG 1 Posted May 12, 2013 1a is the EASY version? Heh, heh. There were just two of us - and both newbies, admittedly - but there were at least two dozen enemies in sight at once. At night, in the woods, with very thick cover, all of them could apparently spot us instantly and shoot with deadly accuracy. We didn't have a chance. We might have lasted a little longer with five people, but not much. It was just so lopsided that it wasn't any fun. We tried it a few times with different tactics, but the result was the same. The minute they knew we were there, we were dead. I really don't know how they can spot us like that, at night, in the woods. Of course, as I said, we're just newbies. But I have to wonder how hard the DIFFICULT version would be! Heh, heh. After that, note that we haven't had the courage to try 2a. :) But I'm sure we will, eventually. Thanks. The moment your Team attack, the Enemie will engage you, but, they will also lose you if you retreat. I designed the Missions to be hard, because all User made Mission i played where really easy and we rushed through them easily. In my opinion it's more fun to finish a hard Mission then just rush a easy one. Good luck for your next try. However, feel free to report things you really DON'T like, so i can change them. WCG 1 Posted May 26, 2013 OK, we played 2a finally (again, the "easy" version, supposedly), and it was a lot of fun. But the AI is crazy in this alpha version of Arma 3, isn't it? Again, there were just two of us, both newbies. We tried this as an infantry mission first, and it's just nuts. The minute you open fire - at night, under good cover, with a sound suppressor on your rifle - the AI just kills you. We can hide from them until we take a shot. Then we're dead. They can apparently see us anywhere, and they're all crack shots. Then I noticed that one of the trucks at the starting camp had a machine gun on it, so we drove that into the enemy base and killed them all. As tough as they are on infantry, the AI seem to be absolutely hopeless against vehicles. Half the time, we'd be right next to them and they'd be looking off in some other direction. The worse thing we faced were flashlights. When we ran out of ammo, we just grabbed one of their trucks - which they didn't have sense enough to use themselves. Anyway, between the two of us, we killed 66 enemy soldiers. That's the easy version of the mission? I can't imagine how many are in the difficult version! :) As I say, it was a lot of fun, even though it felt like cheating, since the AI was so inept. But without that one truck (the only vehicle available which had a weapon), we would have given up very quickly, I'm sure. Anyway, thanks for the missions! The AI can be really crazy sometimes. We played the Missions with 3 or 5 Player and it became easier every try, so i made them nearly impossible.^^ The 1.
