Asherion 1 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Echo Company is now recruiting! We are a military realism simulation squad for ARMA 2: Combined Operations. We are a small squad, and we employ ACE2 and ACRE as well as a few other mods to customize the ARMA experience to something as realistic as possible without sacrificing a fun time. Our weekly and/or biweekly 'campaign' ops are serious when on the field, 'in-character' so to speak, but the rest of our ops and trainings are designed to be fun and casual. We perform our military operations with discipline, but we recognize that the game is meant to be... fun. Come check out our website, or hop onto our TeamSpeak. Asherion 1 Posted May 5, 2013 Updates: Echo Company has undergone some massive updates recently, so here's the skinny: 1) New Leadership. Goodspeed (me) has taken over at the helm, with Rebel as Bravo TL and Zak in training to secondary TL. 2) New site makeover - entire new look, and weekly updated blogs and news - check that out, same address. 3) We're five ops into our Thirsk campaign, Operation Closeout, which we started since the last post here. Op reports are on the site, and YouTube videos are being posted, albeit a bit lagged behind, for each op. 4) We have a new, more scalable Teamspeak with more slots. For now, it's open - if you want to recruit, hop on over - but it's limiting Guest access to the lobby for privacy reasons. 5) We're planning our new campaign for the Lingor island as soon as the Thirsk one ends in two or three more missions/weeks. The story will be directly affected by Operation Closeout events and story, so stay tuned. Thanks, I thought there were enough alterations here to merit a post. Also, recruiting is open again and will not close until we fill two squads (if we do). We're recruiting European members now as well, as long as they understand that it's a US time based squad, so weekday playtimes with European and American members may not jive, but we all talk constantly on TS and we all play together on weekends. Asherion 1 Posted July 2, 2013 Greetings All! Goodspeed from Echo Company again, with a quick update. We've reorganized our unit a bit, and have some news and updates. Firstly, we're mimicking the relative layout, armament, and function of a US Army Ranger unit now, as far as possible, although in some cases, of course, the needs of ArmA 2 differ from real life. Echo Company has withdrawn from Lingor, after the situation spiraled out of control on the island. Immediately thereafter, we are being redeployed to Fallujah, following a few weeks of reorganizing the unit and training. Recruiting is open once more to anyone over 16 and living within North America time zones, so please hit up our TeamSpeak or our website! Finally, we have a compilation video up of some of our funniest moments, as well as some of our soberest moments. Please remember that these clipsare mostly taken from unofficial fun ops :D and may not be entirely serious, realistic, or politically correct. Enjoy. Asherion 1 Posted July 28, 2013 Echo Company has wrapped up our involvement with Task Force Aegis on Lingor Island, about a month and a half long campaign, and are now preparing to deploy as the newest unit in Operation Titan. This awesome interactive, cooperative, multi-unit campaign should prove to be both great fun and a test of skill!
