Beckwith-USSOCOM- 10 Posted March 18, 2013 (edited) United States Special Operations Command has been around since the start of ArmA2 and we have been around in other games since 2007. We are well established and dedicated Military Simulation Unit. We are recruiting for ArmA3 now that it has come out in Alpha and will be active and in the live game when it comes out. We have over 80 active members in USSOCOM ranging from active and prior service to non-service members. We focus on all parts of Milsim that is good, like the tactics, the teamwork, and much more. We have BCT that is 4 weeks long, a Ranger School that is 3 weeks long, TACP Training is the first step to becoming a PJ in our unit and PJ's only select from the TACP's they have. We have MARSOC that is starting up. We have SOAR so you can become a rotary wing pilot and SOW to become a Fixed wing pilot or a pedro, which is to be a tranport pilot for the PJ's. Last but not least we have DEVGRU and Delta, these are our elite tier 1 units. They only recruit once every 3 months and have a limited amount of spots they can fill every 3 months. You must be at the top of your MOS and unit to even try getting into DEVGRU and be recommended by your CO. Delta on the other hand, hand picks the guys they want to bring to tryout for their unit. Straight out of BCT you can go into one of these units... 75th Rangers 720th STG (TACP) 160th SOAR (Crewman) MARSOC Units you can go into after being in one of the above units for at least a month... 720th STG (Pararescue) 160th SOAR (Pilot) 1SOW (Pilot) Units you can go into after being in any unit for at least 3 months... DEVGRU Delta I hope this gives you some ideas about our unit. We have all our info to join us below.
