Arma 2 Free - Lags/Glitches after playing a while

I'm having heavy lags/glitches (distorted graphic after playing for 1 hour).

This are my specs:

AMD Athlon II x2 260

3.2GHZ

GeForce GT 440 (2,3GB)

RAM (3.3GB)

Pixel Shader: 5.0

Vertex shader: 5.0

Is it risky for hardware to keep playing this game?

I do not know what is happening, I have solid PC. :rolleyes:

Lucky you can even get it to run.

I have same problem, I can play on high settings with "not many AL troops", but when it comes about playing 1 hour or more, graphic will distort, it looks very bad, only flush command shift, minus and flush will return everything working nice.

What causing this problem?

Overheating?

Lack of RAM?

Or this is just game bug?

And please answer.
