Stange thing happening in resistance?

I was play resistance maybe a half a dozen time when, after quitting the game then going back into all the menu`s text are invisable you can`t read any and is you go into option there nothing but the menu are still there. So I went into video option all i saw was the slide bars, I try turning the bightness and gamma up It did nothing the only thing I found was if I turned the view Distance to max(5000) i could just bearly see the menu`s. The only I found to fix this is to unistall just resistance and then reinstall it. I have already done this 2 times. i don`t know why it does this, iwant to know if anyone else has had this happen to them and what it is and how to fix it.
