SlI Users : Different cores + Card settings : results = more fps.

Hello all.

First off my system:

gtx580 sli 1500mb

SSD

16 gig ram

15@4.5ghz

4 core machine

Tests running the infantry showcase using fraps.

All settings on very high

FXAA - High

Post off

Everything else Very High

Sli OFF - 1 card-cpu=4 core

Fps = 30

Sli ON - x2 cards-cpu=4 core

Fps = 45

Sli OFF - 1 card-cpu=2 core

Fps = 30

Sli ON - x2 cards-cpu=4 core

Fps = 45

How ever, using sli and taking fxaa off and antialiasing off, I put it on SMAA Ultra which actually looks better, this game me an increase of 20 fps

The infantry showcase gives me a pretty solid 60fps. Seems it could be a driver issue. Try it and let me know if it helps you, changing your start up

by altering your cores from 2-4 or even 6 makes no difference.

Hope that helps some of you break the 40 fps barrier as I was stuck with it, on a decent gaming rig.
