How to: waypoints, and triggers.

Example:

1. There is a helicopter, and inside is an AI. I set a waypoint - move. I would like that helicopter to move when enemy has entered the trigger area. In this case Helicopter is Opfor, and enemy is Blufor.

Check out this Youtube series of videos, a great introduction to the core functions of the Editor including how to use the waypoints and triggers

It was created for Arma II but is the same for III.
