Boowman 10 Posted March 7, 2013 After an hour of playing i got a BSOD (first time ever on win 7 for me), i thought; well no biggie, its an alpha... Its just that now my computer wont boot, the crash actually destroyed either the mobo or the gfx card :( And my setup is actually quite nice in terms of quality and performance. Talk about demanding software!! :) Just wanting to hear if anyone has experienced anything similar to this. Anyway, the worst thing now is that im not able to play the alpha and getting new hardware to Greenland, where i live atm., is time consuming...
k3lt 3 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) There is so many things that can cause bsod, it's nearly impossible to find out by yourself. Can be drivers, defective hardware, application issue or simply overheating. If you google there are forums where you can get pretty good help if you include a memory dump which windows is creating with each crash / bsod.
