SLI Optimization on A3 Alpha

Recommended Posts

It's not much the driver can do when there just aren't enough frames sent to the GPU's to draw.

SLI is functioning though, as I can get my GPU usage to 99% spread evenly accross all 3 GPU's when I run 5760x1080 resolution and enable MSAA.

indeed.

sli works fine, this game is just very heavy on the cpu. So if you run 2 very fast cards in sli, might as well go all out with resolution, antialiasing, shadows, other gpu heavy effects.

I only get about 50% usage per GPU on my EVGA 690.

Is there any tweaks people are using to get max usage ?

moar antialiasing, more!!!

you can also set the render resolution higher than actual resolution. makes for a very sharp image, a real gpu killer though.

SLI is working fine (with the exception of the PiP flickering) - the game is in Alpha and needs a lot of optimization (which is to be expected).

At this point, it seems there are issues with CPU usage and GPU usage that will no doubt get worked out as development continues :D

Hello guys. I’m thinking about grabbing me another GTX 670 to run in SLI because running across 3 monitors was kicking my single GTX 670’s butt. I had to drop the graphic settings down to normal or just go to one monitor(1080p on high) to keep my frame rates between 60-40. I was wondering what frame rates everyone who has SLI rigs or 3 monitor rigs are getting. The new card would definitely help out with cranking the graphics in other games but I was wondering if it would help out any with A3 Alpha? Thanks in advance.

I got two GTX580 and most graphics options does zero which leads me to believe that my CPU is bottlenecking. literally have the same FPS on ultra as standard. only object and view distance as well as shadow distance made any difference in fps.

Try first and overclock your CPU i think that´s where you´ll notice the biggest performance jump in FPS even if you add another card.
