Helicopter Mission- Is there any way to exit the vehicle once you have started?

I was not able to middle click or use a keyboard control to exit the chopper once the mission has started. Tried Ejecting, tried exiting, tried middle mouse clicking-no option to exit the chopper?

"V" x2 is Eject, but is non-functional, I assume parachutes have not been added yet. But no there is now way to eject currently.
