Arma 2: Complete Collection QUESTION

Recommended Posts

Greetings!

Ive got installed Arma 2 : AO standalone (from Steam) and now ive bought Arma 2: Complete Collection (wich allso includes Arma2 : AO)

My Questions is :

Do i need to unninstall my standalone Arma2 : AO and download it again from "Complete Collection" ive bought to make all this Collection work ?

On steam, there is an option and the list of Arma games "Complete Collection" and i can chose what not to download. I just wanted to ask if i can leave out Arma2 :AO and Arma2 : AO beta ?

This is Arma 2: Complete Collection list of all the stuff thats included and can be downloaded now :

(i dont need beta AO ? and arma2 AO since ive got it allready?)

Arma 2

Arma 2 : British Forces

Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead

Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead beta

Arma 2 : Private Military Company

Thanks for the answer in advance!

Regards!

Goba

BTW - i read there should be "ARMA2 : Army of the Czech Republic" in the list but its not available in the download section after i bought the collection? (see list above)

from PC gamer :

Along with the core Arma 2 game, the bundle includes expansion Operation Arrowhead and DLC packs British Armed Forces, Private Military Company, and Army of the Czech Republic. Each DLC adds extra vehicles, weapons, factions, and maps, so you’re essentially getting tinier Arma campaigns with the same degree of hyper-realism.

Hi,

don't know about first question, personally I would just try and see. Both are steam products so there shouldn't be problem keep "sa".

To second question (as quote) I had same problem so I send email to Steam Support and they explained me why it's not in game library. This DLC is automatic downloaded with Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead. And You can check this by:

1) Log in to Steam

2) Navigate to your Library list

3) Right-click on the game Operation Arrowhead

4) Select "View downloadable content".

But they should mention this detail somewhere because it's really confusing when some DLC are in library and some are attached to game directly.

See You on the battlefield and don't forget When you see the flash, it's already too late!

Copy of Steam email:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

If you are having trouble running this DLC please try the following:

Please try running Steam as administrator.

To do so, exit Steam.

Navigate to the Steam installation folder (C:\Program Files\Steam\ by default)

Right-click on Steam.exe

Select "Run as administrator"

Test the issue.

When purchased, DLC content is automatically downloaded and integrated with your game. If you wish to confirm that your DLC is attached to this game, please do the following:

1) Log in to Steam

2) Navigate to your Library list

3) Right-click on the game Operation Arrowhead

4) Select "View downloadable content".

If your DLC is listed in this window and you are still encountering issues locating it in your game, please contact the game's support department for detailed instructions on how to access this content.
