PointyVirus 1 Posted January 9, 2013 Hi everyone. My friend had a CTD within 5-30 minutes of gameplay of OA. He had me try and sort it, 3 days later, I think I've come up with a solution. The actual problem was that Arma 2 OA would crash, send him to the desktop then carry on playing the in-game sounds. He used the FLUSH command, and that would work for another 5 minutes but that even started to fail. What I eventually done to fix his problem was to discharge his PSU from all static. This made the game play for around 2 hours and 10 minutes without any problems. If you don't know how to do that, unplug your PC/Laptop from any wall outlets, and if you have a laptop, take the battery out then press the power button for 30 seconds (My friend's fans actually spun for around a second when I done this).
