Arma 2 OA Patching Slow - 704MB Download 1 hour?

Greetings everyone, I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm trying to update the patch to 1.62 for Arma OA and the patch file is 704 MBs but it says it's going to take 1 hour to download? What? I'm running at 30 Mbps and for some reason a 704 MB file is going to take an hour? And I have to download 2 patches? That's crazy! Can anyone confirm if this has happened to them?

I'm getting these patches off Arma's website how could it be that a 700 MB download takes 1 hours..?

Based out of Chicago Illinois, I have comcast "Blast" i've tested my speeds i have 35 Down and 10 MB up

Your download speed does not matter at all. If you connect to a server on for example a 10MB line your download will reach max 10 MB, never 30 MB (your speed).

It could be the server you are downloading from is serving files to many more people, as such you will have to share the bandwidth speed the server has with all those other downloaders, or maybe the server is thortlled (I am sure I spelled that wrong but I am to tired to fix that :) ).

Like was suggested already............find another mirror which gives you better speed, or just go out and walk the dog while its downloading (or go out with some friends or do funny things with your girl).
