Tony Blair 0 Posted July 4, 2002 OK, here's my weird problem with the new and exciting add-on for OFP I've reinstalled the game about 4 times now and the result is the same everytime. When I start up OFP-R the preferences window appears with my info and stuff in, that should seem like something normal right? Wrong, when I click on the play button the CD-Rom starts up and information is read from the HDD. But the Preference window appears again and nothing else happens, you can click on all the buttons and fiddle with the setting but not play the game. I've tryed running OFP-R through the Red-hammer and the Cold War Crisis, but the campain tab isn't there. Before you say that i should contact Codemasters and ask for their help, I did . I followed all the instructions that they sent me and I'm still left staring at the Preferences screen, if there is anyone out there that had the same problem and knows how to sort it. Please please please (to much begging?) could your reply to this here Thread.
theavonlady 2 Posted July 4, 2002 Shouldn't you be running the government? But seriously, folks............................ Quit the CD's automenu and try running it from a desktop shortcut or click the Windows START button and select it from PROGRAMS\CODEMASTERS\OPERATION FLASHPOINT\FLASHPOINT RESISTANCE. WhoCares 0 Posted July 4, 2002 First of all, try what is suggested in Recommended tuning suggestions, especially step 5 seems to be promissing. It would also help, if you give us some informations about your system (CPU, memory, Gfx, OS).

Rumo(u)rs are that Jack Straw has gotten hold of a copy of VBS1 from Colin Powell at the recent June 13 North Atlantic Council (NAC) meeting. Did you try the standard methods I mentioned?
