Mossturds are the worst shotgun money can buy, right next to Remington. If you want quality, buy a Beretta. Like I did smile.gif

No regrets here...

Yeah Ive never really noticed any problems in the way of jamming. However on a few occasions shells would simply fall out the bottom. As aposed to being chambered. I think its the fault of the little lever aperatus that lifts the shells to be chambered.

Hopefully though I can get it ingame soon. Personally I dont have the tools so I rely on the other guys to do the importing and scripting stuff. I just model and skin em.

just talked to my gun nut pal, and he says he has used all sorts of mossbergs, including the 500 and 590 and has never had a jam, same with the remingtons and he says the Mossbergs are better then remingtons. he says both remington shot guns and mossbergs are very good shotguns but not as nice as benelli's, but fact still stands he has not had any problems with them, and he is an active gun user heh

I have also used many a firearm in reality. Mossburgs and Remingtons are the worst brand of shotgun money can buy. That is my opinion on them, and I will stand by that. Pump actions are not as bad. But semi-auto's are hell. We took a Remington 1100 duck shooting once. It probably fired 75 rounds that day and jammed 12 times. Whereas my Beretta has never jammed. The only time it does Jam is when I try putting anything under 1oz (24gm) loads through it. Everything else it cycles fine. I don't know what planet your gun nut mate is on...

Well his gun nut friend was refering to pump guns which generally dont jam. Ive never had a 500 actually jam on me. And my experiences with a 590 has been just as good. I can see where semiautos might have problems. But then we arent refering to semiautos. As far as I know the pump action remingtons and mossbergs are pretty good in the way of functionality.

I like the Pancor.

S&W AS looks nice too, I think these 2 perform well and they can use the new CAWS ammunition, which increases the range to about 200m. smile.gif

I'd really love a good shotgun in OFP. One where you don't have to reload after every shot!

My dad use to be a gun smith. and from experence i have found that some guns dont like different types of ammo. and also the settings on some autos. such as the browning we have at home. you have to take it appart and tighten up the spring or losin it up depending on the type of loads you are going to use. and like i stated above some guns perfer different kinds of ammo. one gun may like one type of brand ammo where if a different gun used the same ammo it would jam or get stuck. some times it not ever the guns fault for gamming like my .45 colt i use a winchester winclean ammo for it the lead is tapered and flat in at the end. it jams some times but its not the guns fault the colt wasnt made for that kind of ammo. the kind of ammo it was made for was the full metal jacket that had the rounded tip at the end. so there could be manny different reasions why it had jammed

Can anyone do buckshot for addons properly, other shotgun addons I've seen just fire a bunch of bullets simultaneously...good effect, but the multiple casings ejecting look a bit corny.

Maybe Resistance opens up some new possibilities?

I used to work in a gun shop. Best job I ever had. I have to say I'd take a Benelli over a Beretta. They make, IMPO, the best semi-auto and pump shotguns on the market. If you really want a great gun, save your pennies and dimes, and buy a M3 Super 90. It can be converted between pump and semi-auto. So if you are shooting and it gets fouled for whatever reason, just switch to pump mode and keep rockin'.

And I don't think it's totally fair to say that Remingtons suck. They don't suck, because they do what they're supposed to do, and I think their sales reflect that. But they aren't a Benelli or a Beretta by any means.

Honestly, comparing a Mossberg or a Remington to a Benelli is like comparing a Smith & Wesson to a SIG.
