High Command Questions

Hi All

My mate and I have just recently made it to the Badlands mission in coop. We have managed to capture Novo Sobor and are ready to expand west, however I just have a few questions which I can't find answers for:

- I have set up a base and a barracks etc. That's all good. My problem is that when I build a unit for example a simple rifleman, it adds them to my squad (group 1). When I select the new guy (using F5) and then go Communication, Send Units. The next menu is blank for me, there are no other groups to send them to, even though I have 3 other NAPA groups. What am I doing wrong? Alternatively is there a way to make a whole new group (say group 5 or 6?)

- It seems when I start the next part of this mission (after taking Novo Sobor and building the base) I seem to lose control over the 3 other NAPA groups, their icons on the lower left turn black, and they don't take any of my orders anymore??? Am I ment to lose them?

- How do you get units to board vehicles, I have a few technicals which are just sitting there since no one enters them to drive???

Thanks in advance for your help, at the moment the mission is practically unplayable.

How could we create a new squad in game in high command mode?

I know how to create units, how to send them to other squads, how to send money to other squads.

But there is no option for new squad or create squad.

I've tried every source. In game options, tutorials, game manual, google, you tube or forums. Even if someone like this asked this question, no one answered. Some of them for few years remain unnanswered. Could somebody finally resolve it?

You can't send your units or money to other squads in the badlands mission. until i know. In the next mission it'll be possible. But only to existing squads. I haven't yet found any way to create new squads.

And yes, you'll loose command of 3 other NAPA squads in Badland mission.

For me, I could still command my units after the icons black out (or so it seems), but it becomes extremely hard to control them. From what I've studied:

-Don't capture a base yourself! Order a squad to capture it so the icons don't disappear

-Actively give new orders. It seems that being idle for too long causes the icons to disappear

-The icons disappearing is inevitable, but can be prolonged. I've seen it happen as early as when I'm still in the base and as late as attacking Stary Sobor.

Ok, maybe it goes in badlands. But it still isn't answering the question of creating new squads. In next mission or in any other mission using high command.
