walker 0 Posted June 20, 2014 Hi all An experiment by Edward Tsyganov of the University of Texas has shown LENR/ColdFusion taking place in a crystal lattice providing incontrovertible proof that LENR/ColdFusion is real. He Will be presnting it to the Russian nuclear community at: A seminar “DD fusion in conducting crystals†by Edward Tsyganov will be held July 7 on 3:30 pm at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in the N. N. Bogolyubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics in Dubna, Russia near Moscow.“A brief background on cold fusion leading to a discussion on some aspects of atomic physics will be presented. Conduction electrons in metallic crystal are grouped in potential niches of the crystal lattice, resulting in a ban for s-states of hydrogen to occupy these same niches. At the same time, the filling of these niches with deuterium atoms is allowed for the excited atomic states of level 2p and above. We believe that this process of excitation of atomic states to the 2p level and above explains the first stage of the so-called cold fusion.â€... http://coldfusionnow.org/tsyganov-presents-at-dubna-conference/ As always follow the link to the original text in full PDF of the slides from the presentation: http://coldfusionnow.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Tsyganov-Dubna-Talk.pdf Kind Regards walker
walker 0 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi all Latest NASA LENR report on what they were doing with in 2013: AbstractThis report serves as the final written documentation for the Aeronautic Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) Seedling Fund’s Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) Aircraft Phase I project. The findings presented include propulsion system concepts, synergistic missions, and aircraft concepts. LENR is a form of nuclear energy that potentially has over 4,000 times the energy density of chemical energy sources. It is not expected to have any harmful emissions or radiation which makes it extremely appealing. There is a lot of interest in LENR, but there are no proven theories. This report does not explore the feasibility of LENR. Instead, it assumes that a working system is available. A design space exploration shows that LENR can enable long range and high speed missions. Six propulsion concepts, six missions, and four aircraft concepts are presented. This report also includes discussion of several issues and concerns that were uncovered during the study and potential research areas to infuse LENR aircraft into NASA’s aeronautics research. http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/20140010088.pdf has been made public. walker 0 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) Hi all The E-cat confirmed to work by Swedish Scientists working for the Swedish Government Energy research company Elforsk, the independent tests were run in an independent Swiss lab. Rossi merely installed the E-cat powder in their test rig and took it away after the tests. They were allowed to open it up and examine the contents before and after the tests, isotope analysis of the fuel and its resultant ash shows an unknown nuclear process, that needs further investigation. Observation of abundant heat production from a reactor device and of isotopic changes in the fuel (53 pages)They were running the system at about 2300 watts or power output and putting in about 900 watts. The total net energy obtained during the 32 days run was about 1.5 MWh ABSTRACT New results are presented from an extended experimental investigation of anomalous heat production in a special type of reactor tube operating a t high temperatures . The react or, named E - Cat, is charged with a small amount of hydrogen - loaded nickel powder plus some additives , mainly Lithium . The reaction is primarily initiated by heat from resistor coils around the reactor tube. Measurements of the radiated power from the react or were performed with high - resolution thermal ima ging cameras . The measurements of electrical power input were performed with a large bandwidth three - phase power analyzer. Data were collected during 32 days of running in March 2014. The reactor operating point was set to about 1260 º C in the first half of the run, and at about 1400 ° C in the second half . The measured energy balance between input and output heat yielded a COP factor of about 3.2 and 3.6 for the 1260 º C and 1400 º C run s, respectively . The total net energy obtained during the 32 days run was about 1.5 MWh. This amount of energy is far more than can be obtained from any known chemical sources in the small reactor volume . A sample of the fuel was carefully examined with respect to its isotopic composition before the run and after the run, using several standard methods : XPS, EDS, SIMS, ICP - MS and IC P - A E S . The isotope composition in Lithium and Nickel was found to agree with the natural composition before the run , while after the run it was fo und to have changed substantially . N uclear reactions are therefore indicated to be present in the run process, which however is hard to reconcile with the fact that no radioactivity was detected outside the reactor during the run... http://nextbigfuture.com/2014/10/third-party-report-on-32-day-continuous.html It is due to be published in Journal of Physics D and the Cornell University Arxiv it is currently under embargo but a leaked copy of an earlier draft of the reports is where this comes from.
