Sobakaa 1 Posted August 9, 2012 Hello, Bought ArmA2:CO recently and tried to play with friends. I'm creating a server from Multiplayer tab, not a dedicated one, and i don't see a possibility to change mission time (it's usually late when we play, so it's always a night mission). I don't remember the exact name of the mission now, it's one in Chernarus, where you have to find and kill other players in a circle area with weapons and vehicles scattered around. So, is this mission exclusively night one, or there is some way to change time? Thanks.
SnowSky 12 Posted August 9, 2012 I don't know exactly about what mission you speak, but some missions allow you to set Parameters (it's in the bottom line once you are in the Selection list of the playable units), like Daytime/Nighttime/fasttime etc. . But normally the time is set by the missioncreator, so it can surely be only a nighttime mission perhaps. You might try open the missions pbo, extract it into your editor and change datetime there. I don't know if you would need an agreement by the missioncreator. You might watch into the readme you got with the mission, if it is allowed or not etc.. tracyface 10 Posted August 10, 2012 i do not think you can do it mate. what i have done is upload the BENNY version in my main control panel of my server provider. very hard to do and took me 2 days. Play for instance in WASP server or XR server and you will see the difference in the game. In that BENNY version you can put specifically the game to start at 0800 in the morning for instance. if the game lasts for 9 hours as it has been a few times , you see it starts getting dark as the time in the game would be 1700. Very realistic.
