Lobiok 1 Posted June 28, 2012 (edited) Hello dear Community, Im having a big problem with my Arma2 Retail Version. When I install a Beta Patch on my computer, my PMC/BAF dlc doesnt load anymore. When I get into the game, it still tells me that the PMC and the BAF expansion are active, but I cant acces any content of it ingame. I only get this error if start the Beta patch shortcut (Failed to load file "d:\program files(x86)\bohemia interactive\addons\air_pmc.pbo" - decryption of headers failed) . But, If I start the normal RFT.exe (Version 1.60.87549), I´m able to use all the content and I dont get any launch errors. The problem for me is, I want to play DayZ, for which I need the new beta patch and also im simply unable to play on most of the servers due to the missing beta patch. I hope you can help me. *** UPDATE *** I moved out the PMC and the BAF folder(I have RFT, so I had the ones with the good textures) and its working with BAF and PMC lite now. JD 10 Posted February 19, 2014 I'm having the same issue with new copies of ARMA II Complete. One actually works fine, but the other two get the exact same air_pmc.pbo decryption error. Thanks for posting a workaround even though nobody ever bothered to reply to you. I don't want to have to remove something I paid for though.
