Different CD Key Problem

Recommended Posts

I searched the forums and everyone seems to have the problem cant join a game well here is my problem. Just knocked the dust off my arma 2 cd case and was going to reinstall game havent played it in forever my friend told me about this day z mod. I have my original owner's manual with cd installation key on the back. I put the cd in start the installation and it asks me to type the cd key in. When i type it in it says wrong cd key, I have never given my key to anyone else. I used to play the game alot about 2 years ago and the cd key worked fine.

Are you sure that you had put the right number or character key ? because most of the cases like this that happened before was because some character and number are looks similar to other. For example : 0 = zero but sometimes peoples tends to read it as O .

But , if even you had put the key correctly and still happen, then I suggest you PM Placebo and ask him to check your CD-key :)

Sorry, I don't mean to thread hijack but I find my question slightly relevant - how do you even change the cd key for ArmA 2 : Operation Arrowhead? First time running it, I put in my key, and I've never been able to change it since.

Try to run the installation process as administrator and see if that helps.

And yes, if they key keeps refusing to work sent it to placebo@bistudio.com so he can check it.

@t1337Dude

Please do not derail the thread, changing a key has nothing to do with a non-working key. And also I would not know why you want to change your key. That is never needed except in certain cases and if thats the case with you you will not get any help anyway.
