Mynameispingu 1 Posted May 28, 2012 Okay I have this bug and from what i've seen it appears to be quite common and I can't join any server whatsoever. I have a Netgear router, and people say that tends to be the problem with the DGN1000 or something, personally I have no idea what that means along with multiplexing. -I have reinstalled BattlEye -I have reinstalled Arma 2, Arma 2:OA, and all of the DLC Since this is fairly common, why has it not been fixed after 3 years of the games actual release? I want instructions on how to fix this or my money back
Sad Git 10 Posted May 28, 2012 (edited) Battleye - protects you so well you can't play anything. ---------- Post added at 12:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:06 AM ---------- I've been trying to fix the same problem on Arma2Free these last few hours, but I'm going to have to give up. I'll post the solution here though, as maybe it will work for others if not for me. As you say, people saying it's your VC-MUX or whatever isn't terribly helpful. So I'll try to give clear instructions. First, ensure you've got the latest BattlEye version. (BE Client) It's here:- http://www.battleye.com/download.html Copy the "BEClient.dll" over the existing one in your BattlEye directory. If you are having problems because you have a Netgear DGN1000 router then you need to go here:- www.routerlogin.net Enter "admin" for username and "password" for password. Click on "ADSL" settings, and change "Multiplexing method" from "VC-Based" to "LLC-Based", and apply. This (allegedly) solves the BattlEye problem except it may also cause your internet connection to stop working. If this happens repeat the above method and change the setting back. Don't worry - you can still do this while disconnected. The only other solution after this is to obtain a new modem. I have no intention of doing this just for one game, so I guess I won't be buying a full version of Arma anytime soon. Edited May 28, 2012 by Sad Git
