DarkCrow 10 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) I'm still having the same problem as I did in beta. Game minimizes and I can't bring it back up. I have to use task manager to shut it down. I still hear the game and my helicopter crashing. No error comes up. Tried it without track ir and same thing. This happens in missions, in free flight and in MP after 5 to 10 mins. playing. System specs: Windows 7 64 bit Intel Core 920 2.67ghz (8 cpus) Memory 12gb Direct X 11 Nvidia Geforce GTX 275 (x2) 4069mb latest driver Logitech G940 and Track IR up to date Edited October 29, 2011 by DarkCrow
-DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) I also have SLI gtx275 FPDR that gtx 275 pair has 896 ram not 4096 hold Left Shift and press num pad minus (-), release, then type flush to recover from the crash. these are my settings go to MyDocuments\Take On Helicopters and open up your TakeOnH profile, change AToC=7; to AToC=0; I don't suggest that your problems will disappear, but it should greatly reduce your crashing. You will be able to play longer than 5-10 minutes. :) my current settings are a little different, 8k/4k view/object draw distance. I was trying to maximize my framerate for sky ninja maneuvers with the lesser VDs. Edited October 29, 2011 by [DirTyDeeDs]-Ziggy-

SkipDialogue 10 Posted October 29, 2011 I don't know how to keep it from minimizing, but I know how to get it back without killing it. If you hit Alt+Enter, it will enter Windowed mode and you'll see it again. Then you can hit Alt+Enter again to go full screen.

Cobra6 10 Posted October 29, 2011 (edited) I don't see AToC at all in there You might be correct, the setting is not in the your_nick.TakeOnHProfile like said before but in TakeOnH.cfg I'm experiencing these minimalisations as well, I'll try out the fix. Cheers, Cobra 6 Edited October 30, 2011 by Cobra6

ONE[/quote'] You said profile, there the two files ending on "profile" in that directory and one config file (.cfg). All three have the string "TakeOnH" in them :) There is only one "your TakeOnH profile" there and that is the profile with your name (and one with "vars" in between), the other one is not a profile but a configuration file. I'm just being more clear ;) Cobra 6 Edited October 30, 2011 by Cobra6
-DirTyDeeDs--Ziggy- 0 Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) MyDocuments\Take On Helicopters .... I mentioned no other folder... I mis-spoke about describing the file as profile. it is a config. Edited October 30, 2011 by [DirTyDeeDs]-Ziggy-
