As Loyalguard said, BIS wiki is THE bible for scripters/mission makers. There's also ofpec.

IMHO, the best way to learn scripting is to unpbo missions, read tutorials and test. I suggest you to learn multiplayer scripting to be sure that your missions can be played on dedicated server.
