Nuclear Explosion Effect

Hi All, I was wondering If it is possible to create the Aftermath of a nuclear explosion and mushroom cloud seen in the Eagles Wing Campaign, in your own missions? And if so what scripting is required? Cheers

BIS fnc destroyCity

Please note this will not destroy every building. It damages some and leaves some untouched. If you do a search you can find some interesting variants other have come up with.

Thanks very much for this link will be very useful with the post-apocalypse missions I'm making but I was wondering if the mushroom cloud effect seen can be re-created, this is poor explanation on my part.

There are several nuke effects script out there if you do a search.

It is still based on a point or center. The first element in the array is a position Array (in format position) or Object (object position) or String (marker position). The other elements are optional but are areaSize (default is 1000 is left blank), seed, and blacklist. See the article for more explanation of seed and blacklist

There are some scripts for nukes out there if you search, the improved version of LK's nuke works well, but I'm having problems terminating the script. So the mushroom cloud usually lingers and the weather changes, it's pretty annoying and I gave up on trying to find away around that.

the destroy city function only damages some buildings, if you want to level the whole town, good luck. I've tried using a script that uses the nearestObjects command, but that only works for trees and stuff. There's a nearBuilding and NearestBuilding, but there's no plural option for those.
