"The 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion was activated on October 26, 2006, and is headquartered at Camp Pendleton, California. " The 1st MSOB has been created for the one's who enjoy special operations within a virtual battle space for Arma II.The 1st MSOB is ran by two Sergeants ; Sergeant McWilliams and Sergeant Evoy who have known each other for last 4 years. They know the correct methods of navigating and completing objectives in an orderly fashion. They our veterans of ArmA and are wanting teach their recruits everything they know about navigation, completing the mission and how the game works.Why the 1st MSOB? We believe that in order to play in a virtual battle space, we would have to create some sort of system to keep the activity level at the highest point: - The first way of creating this system is to have nightly Trainings/mission or operations within the unit if possible. We will work with the recruits real life schedule into ours in order to create as much flexibility as possible. - The second way is to gain a relationship with other realism units within the Arma II community. The Shadow company is a ranger unit for Arma II and we have establish liaisons with this particular unit. With this in place, we are able to have Joint Operations or trainings with them. We are working on Liaison with 5th Special Forces Group. How does the 1st MSOB work? Since this realism unit has just started, we will only be working with just 1 squad and 1 fireteam. Echo Squad, Fireteam 1. All of the ranking, unit and weapon systems will be regulated of how the real 1st MSOB works and by the two Sergeants. There isn't a huge weapon restriction so we let our recruits freely choose what weapons is suitable for the mission. How can I contact this unit?
