Not quite sure what this problem is....

Whenever I play ArmA 2 (free, because I'm a cheap bastard and my computer would sprout legs and kick my teeth in if I were on the full version) I have this problem with..... the environment I guess... The sky is replaced with this obnoxiously loud, white light that will creep over the ground if I zoom in with a sniper scope.

Granted, my computer is barely powerful enough to play the game in the first place and I don't meet all of the minimum specs... In fact I'm amazed I can run the game as decently as I can in the first place.
