I was wondering if older missions are compatible with the latest upgrades and if there are things to watch out for as far as mission compatibility goes. ralphwiggum 6 Posted May 31, 2002 seems like you are a newbie here.(sorry if i'm mistaken) some missions might contain unofficial addons. If you don't have that, OFP stops itself and goes to desktop. one way to tell if you need unofficial addons is to check what happens when OFP crashes. When OFP crashes to desktop and a windows that says something like, 'CFG://helo/apache21.pbo not found' or something like that and asks you to click OK button, than you are missing something. else, I have no clue. so if you want to enjoy that mission, then you need to get that unofficial addons. and just to be sure, current OFFICIAL version is 1.46. get the patch if you don't have current version.
