immontim 0 Posted May 30, 2002 Hi, One thing has bugged me in this wonderful and remarkably glitch-free (I only started gaming with 1.46) game: names! And sometimes ranks. At least in my single player campaign the same names are used over and over, even if the said Bobby Whowasit bites dust in just preciding mission. Also, all inf guys have their doubles doing air force duty and rolling around in tanks. This is odd because otherwise the game is sooo good. Why not throw in a file of couple of hundred names & surnames, and just pick random ones? And then the ranks: in some missions the whole tank platoon is full of colonels and majors! Some inf squad has me as leutenant and then 7 sergeants! Latest one is the paradrop on Koljugev, all squaddies are given designation "driver"! Could this be some bizarre win98 localisation error or something? Or is this normal OFP? I am using english copy of the game, with win98se in english.
