legendz 10 Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) Hey. Just today I finally got around to mapping my old joystick to the game's controls and got flying with it working. It is working, however there is an issue where it will automatically bank left. This makes flying very difficult- to fly straight I need to be both using the rudder and banking right slightly, and right turns are very slow. I'm using an old microsoft sidewinder as a joystick (I got this thing probably about 8 years ago from somebody who used it for many years prior). It needs a special adapter to put it into a USB port. I have used this setup for a long time and I fly with other software (microsoft flight simulator 2, and microsoft combat flight simulator 2) and see no issues similar to this- leading me to believe that the issue is caused by arma 2. Does anybody out there know how to resolve this issue? EDIT: I tried it again today and it worked somehow- idk lol... kg333 10 Posted August 23, 2011 Did you bump your mouse? I have this happen when driving vehicles with the keyboard...I'll realize I hit the mouse and it's trying to steer hard to one side or the other. :o KG
