lax 10 Posted July 22, 2011 Hello, I am making a mission in ArmA II: Combined ops. At the beginning of the mission, I need artillery to start hitting all around the player and his allies for about 30 seconds or so. The problem is, ive seen hundreds of posts about the artillery module and how to fire arty etc. but I have seen nothing about spawning INCOMING artillery. I dont want the player to be completely destroyed but some incoming hitting all around would be nice. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kylania 568 Posted July 22, 2011 Here's a demo mission. It's based on BIS's incoming mortar stuff from the BAF campaign. While you might get some close hits you shouldn't get any right on. You can also kill the gunners of the mortars to stop the barrage or kill the observer to slow it down. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
twirly 11 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) Here's another little demo where the mortar rounds are created when a trigger marker is entered. Complete with incoming mortar sound whizz. This was a demo I had done for someone previously.... the threads in here somehwere! EDIT: Actually that works with a marker and not a trigger.
