How to add Reinforcements to Combined Ops Retail in the USA

Recommended Posts

Hello,

This is my first post in the forum, and I regret that it's potentially noob nonsense, but I can't seem to figure this out. So please help the confused American.

I live in the U.S. I have a retail copy of Combined Operations.

My understanding is that the Steam versions of PMC and BAF will not work with a retail version of Combined Ops. It also seems to be the case that Arma II: Reinforcements is not available for retail in the U.S.

So, can anyone help me figure out how to attain PMC and BAF in the States for a retail copy of Combined Ops? Am I correct in thinking that a UK retail version is not compatible? Or are all retail copies created equal?

In short, what's the difference here:

US version (out of stock): http://www.amazon.com/ArmA-2-Reinforcements-Pc/dp/B004Z021B2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1308796873&sr=1-2

UK version: http://www.amazon.com/arma-2-reinforcements-PC-UK/dp/B004N85CKI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1308796873&sr=1-1

Thanks guys, and I apologize if this is a stupid question. I tried to search for a similar thread but didn't find one.

As far as im aware the game isnt region locked and if you look at some Ebay sellers (who have %100 feedback) they ship worldwide.

Myself, i get BIS's games via Sprocket so BIS gets more spendula and when i finnish the download i copy the files to a USB stick and label it. If i lose my serial number i can retrieve it in my account at sprocket.

note... i have ArmA 2 DVD bought in Aussie and my Operation Arrowhead and Reinforcements are downloads from Sprocket and everything installs ok just make sure it all goes into the same directory as ArmA 2.

Thanks. I guess I'll just take my chances with Sprocket and see what happens.

Ahh brilliant, it works. I guess it was a stupid question after all. I guess I shouldn't let that pound sign scare me off in the future.

Thanks!
