Noob question

I am new to Arma 2 and most people suggest to use Six updater to add mods like ACE2. So far I have downloaded the CBA/ACE2 mod. My question is, is the mod compatible with all if not most servers?

1) When I join some servers it kicks me saying the ACE mod has invalid signatures or something and asks me to remove a bunch of files before joining again. Can I assume that these servers do not support the mod and I have to turn it off in order to join?

2) Is there any way to get the ping columon on the serverlist on sixupdater to work (atm the ping is 0 for all servers)? I live in Australia so finding the mods on some server in the US or europe isn't really beneficial to me.

3) How do I know what servers support what mods without sixupdater?

1. yes some servers do not like to run ace so turn it off to join

2.yes click the ping and it will show you lowest to highest ping or vice versa

3.click on the server and under expansions you'll see arma 2' Arma 2 OA Arma 2 PMC Arma 2 BAF then like @ace... @glt

Only thing I would add is that if dont want to play with ace or mods turn expansions off in your filter for a 'cleaner' server list or ignor those with orange dots.

There seem to a few good servers (AEF amongst the best) here in Aus.
