Game crash while loading a save game

Hi,

I need help. I bought original Arma 2 cca 2 months ago, I installed the newest patch from the official webpage.

During the mission Badlands while attacking the second city this problem occured.

I start loading a save game and than the game crashes and it says something with lack of memory.

I tried to delete the invalid save games, but the problems happens again.

Reinstall also didnt help.

Please help, I played the mission like 2 hrs a I dont want to lose my saves.

Try to get a good save point before that town, and then completely clear it before saving again...minus any auto saves that is.

You may have to revert to the Badlands beginning.

I found that save, it wasnt exactly before the city, but it was the best one I found.But it didnt work....I got the game crash.

Also during the play the game crashed, it during play not while loading.

Any other solution?

Do you think if I clear whole city without loading/saving it will help?

Are you using the High Command teams?

How much RAM you got?

Windows 32-bit or 64-bit?

Badlands and Dogs Of War missions consume a lot of memory. Only Arma2 .exe took about 2.2GB memory for me. When saving memory usage will increase with about 200MB.

So yes. It is possible that you really run out of memory.

Try temporarily decreasing visibility setting to minimum of 500. It is the most RAM consuming setting.
