Garone 10 Posted June 5, 2011 Is there a way to disable antialiasing on grass and foliage and just allow it on character models? Whenever I'm standing on a field with a lot of grass my performance literally dies, but I don't want to turn off AA because the character models and weapons turn so jaggy. Suka 10 Posted June 5, 2011 Hey, I feel your pain. Use this as well as tweaking your quality settings down a bit, but keep your AA high or very high. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=73964 You could also use proper addons http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=11205 It adds additional graphics settings to tweek. Hope you come right..
Garone 10 Posted June 5, 2011 I disabled atoc. It makes the grass and trees kinda ugly but it's worth it.
Zipper5 74 Posted June 5, 2011 You may wish to check this and locate the very last entry about AToC. You can see to the right of it an explanation as to what each setting does. It may help with performance if you wish to keep AA enabled.
Garone 10 Posted June 5, 2011 I'm such an idiot. I didn't realise that I was running a video in the background while playing ARMA. It runs fine now with both AA and Atoc enabled.
