speaking of Kosher, one of my roommate was a Jewish and he was really following it. I even learned how to adapt to it...but forgot most of it anyway....

funny thing was that his friend who is an orthodox did not even toudh chocolate for some reason. Guess there are varying degrees of kosher-ness. biggrin.gif

I think it's a standard ritual when slaying your first animal.

I mean in modern day hunting as well.

It's like hazing, you have to eat the heart or liver or whatever...eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, nipples, armpits etc...

Savages did that.<span id='postcolor'>

Yep, those damn Catholics, blood of Christ and body of Christ...what are they thinking? biggrin.gif<span id='postcolor'>

Hmm...I'm confused and I want to clear something up....was I meant to get banned for that? confused.gif Because shortly after that post I could no longer post from that same computer and got that nice little "Sorry, you are not allowed to use this board" message. Well, if that's so, some mod has seriously misplaced their sense of humor and/or has a serious bug infestation of their rectum. If there was any confusion about the matter, I have nothing against Catholics, it was a joke, I'm equally prejudiced against all organized religion, I personally feel all organized religion is a sham, and I'm sorry if this offends anyone here, but I'm sure a lot of you who know me will agree that I respect people's right to religion a lot more than any Jehova's Witness has respected my right to be an atheist tounge.gif.

Anyways there's my rant, maybe all it was is a fluke but I thought it was kind of suspicious that I couldnt post from that IP anymore a little while after that post. And if I am truly meant to be banned for this, well now y'all know what happened if you don't see me again.

hmmm.....how about Canadian food? I like it, but before I tried it and after I heard what it was, I thought poutine was the weirdest food i'd ever heard of. "Beavertails" had me confused for a while too smile.gif
