Ollie1983 10 Posted March 10, 2011 Absolutely love this vehicle, however, it would be good if we could alter its load out, and also use the mast mounted sight at times? Would it also be possible to have an OH-58 Kiowa warrior to designate targets for friendly Apaches etc? My other suggestion relates to the use of the TADs system and also the pilots vision sight. In Op Arrowhead the top section of the nose optics rotates to follow the TADs sight of the gunner I think? This is I believe, incorrect since it is the bottom section that is connected to the gunners sights. The Pilot is the one who has the use of the top section (which merely rotates and does not offer elevation as such I think I am right in saying?). What I think would be best is to offer the gunner the use of the sight as in real life, but also offer the pilot the use of the pilots sight (which has built in night vision). Hence at night, Apache pilots do not have goggles, they are in fact reliant on their monocle to fly the machine in darkness and can see nothing with the other eye apart from ambient light in the cockpit or outside. I would also like the option to fit miniguns etc to the OH-6 (or a variant thereof) and use the very nifty and maneuverable (but totally unarmoured) Loach for strafing runs a'la Blackhawk down? I would also so that I am very much against 'single operator' vehicles as they are unrealistic and more Battlefield than in keeping with the ARMA philosophy. I am very glad that Arma insists on seperate gunners, drivers and commanders etc for most vehicles. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
