Can't disable vsync in ArmA2.cfg

Recommended Posts

I just installed vanilla ArmA 2 (after being away from it for months) and updated it to patch, 1.08. I read that now you can disable vsync by entering vsync=0 in the ArmA2.cfg file. I did but it's not working. I tried it with the cfg file with and without the read only attribute but it didn't work either way.

Anything I'm missing here? I searched everywhere but couldn't find an answer to this.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Disable it in your video options in the game.

Editing .cfg files isn't really needed anymore.

Deleting it (to start fresh) ocasionally may help some users.

I don't see the option in game. I don't have OA, just vanilla ArmA2.

I have an ATI card just in case (HD 5870 with 10.12 drivers).

Thanks for the quick reply.

Too bad, I was happy to see that in the 1.08 patch change log. I guess it's back to installing ATT.
