new and need some help

just got arma Arrowhead and British armed forces off steam and wondered how i go about saving favorite servers as i cannot see a tab for it?

i have a retail copy of arma2 is this still worth installing and how i go about installing it to run with the other two if possiable?

is it easy todo as not pc savy must be my age!!

at minute im getting around 30-40- fps my setup is

3x dell p2310h monitors

ati xfx 5850

i7860 oc to 3.8ghz

is there anymore tweaks i can do or what setting would be good to try to get more?

it seems to run fine and smooth so not so bad.

sorry if this is in the wrong place i have looked about but not having much joy or its going right over my head:confused:

i hope someone can kindly help get me going

I can't help with the "how to" as I have no experience with Steam but I would certainly recommend installing ARMA2 if you can. The maps make a welcome change from the deserts.

As far as getting the best fps you really need to play with settings to find the compromise between quality and speed.

Using an HD5870 I prefer speed so I have most options on normal and only Object and Shadow Detail on HIGH with a viewdistance of 6000 I get 40-80fps (playing online) which is nice and smooth.

thanks for the reply,i managed to install arma2 and then added non-steam game to my account and volia when i pressed on joint op's it worked(i hope)it loaded up and i can see all three now:)

yeah i keep messing with the settings but at minute its running rather well.

so all it leaves now is how do i save servers for future times? as cannot see a fav's tab
