Editing Configs for units

Hi!

I would like to open up several of my unit addons configs to edit the weapon loadouts. It's a bitch to always do it in the mission editor. I use a program called "EliteNess v2.23 by Mikero". This works good for dePBOing missions and editing them, then re-pack them to PBO files.

But when i dePBO unit addons, or the config files for the units, I can easily edit their loadouts. The problem is, when I re-pack the file as PBO and replace it with the old one, the whole addon dissappears in-game.

For instance, I edited the SJB_SAS_ACE_CFG file and did the aforementioned prossess. When I go in game again, all the SAS addons are there, except the ACE ones. Can someone please help me out? Am I using an obsolete program? What am I doing wrong? :confused:

Try using a different version of Eliteness. I think there's two versions I found when l looked. One worked and one didn't. It might very well have been that same problem that you are having!.....Don't remember.

Worth a try I guess.
