Advice with Helicopters on Campaign

Hi there, i'm vaguely new to Arma2. I've been watching videos of it, and following it until it came out and have been fascinated with it since. However I have finally got myself a computer powerful enough to finally play it. I am happy :D The game is brilliant but im still fairly new.

On the campaign, i believe it's called 'Secops' missions, i'm on the second one and I have helicopter transport. Now I can get it to pick me up from somewhere and take me back to base, but how do I tell the helicopter to take me from base to somewhere else, because I cannot be bothered driving there. I read somewhere you wait until you're in the helicopter, Press 0, then Communication, Then Support, then Transport Active then open the map and click somewhere. I did that, but the helicopter doesn't take me there. Any advice please?

I don't remember very well as it was a long time ago that I played the campagin but I think you have to call for chopper transport before you get in. Even if its already right next to you.

Ah, thank you very much. It worked, much appreciation. That simple thing stopped me spending hours of needless moving about the map :D
