New patch 1.54 instalation problem

I have the original Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead (bought and downloaded from gamersgate):

Now my problem is: When trying to install the patch (1.54) I got the error messqge that says that Arma 2 is not installed on your computer or instalation is corrupted).

I googled for the fix, and they say that the problem is with the Reg file. The thing is: My reg entry exists, and it is correct, like you can see here under:

Regedit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ArmA 2 OA

Inside the reg entry there are 3 diferent entries:

1) (par defaut) (my computer is french)

2) Key

3) MAIN

Inside the MAIN there is:

TYPE REG_SZ

F:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead

And the game is correctly installed ( I installed and uninstalled 4 times) in this directory F:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead

ps.: I tryed also doing the instalation in the program file (x86) folder, and I checked after the reg entry, and it was also correct patched (C:\program file (x86)\.............

ANd I am always getting the same error: ARMA 2 is not installed in your computer or instalation is corrucpted.

So, I am not able to install this patch. And this PATCH is a must have to fix a lot of issues ( without this patch its not possible to play the game properly).

So, what I ask, please, give me a solution. Because if there is no solution, I would like to know if a refound is possible, because as a client, I am not satisfied with this product. Greetings, Mogas1

Help guys, cause I am seriously beginning to think about jumping out of the window.

I never got Problems with any patches in Arma 2 or OA before, but with the new 1.54 Patch nothing works anymore. Everything started fine, the dowload and also the installation process.

But now after trying to start the patched game Securom tells me that there is a conflict with some emulation-software and that the game cannot be started with such a programm (alcohol, daemon_tool) running in the background. The funny thing is that I have not any of those installed and that everything worked fine before installing this mess of a patched.

I tried it for the third time now and got still the same problem. Is anybody here able to help me???

Have you thought that maybe "emulation-like" software may be installed that you are not aware of? (i.e. malware)

Or possibly you at one time had something like that installed but it was not properly cleaned out of your registry?
