3 monitors @ 1080p = 3x 1920x1080 = 1920x3240 In terms of resolution, that's about halfway between 1440p & 4k. Here are benchmarks from Hardware Unboxed's rig (i7-6700k @ 4.5 GHz & 16 GB DDR4-3000): So given that a GTX1080 provides 80 fps @ 1440p (2560x1440) and 40 fps @ 4K (3840x2160), I think it's fair to say that a GTX1080 would provide about 60 fps @ 1920x3240. Of course, you'd also need an equally fast CPU + RAM. Overall, I'd estimate that'd cost $1160 ($600 for a GTX1080, $330 for a 6700k, $150 for mid-range Z170 mobo & $80 for 16GB DDR4-300). If it helps justify it, a PC of that calibre could prolly run any game, even the latest (Fallout 4, The Division, The Witcher 3, BF1, Far Cry Primal) in 3 x 1080 @ 60+ fps.
