So I was testing my model in-game to verify everything worked out (Scale/Layout), and it did...... ......except for the fact that I couldn't interact with the model at all. So, I went back into Object builder, Selected all components, Set them all as Geometry, and Exported. However, when loading Arma back up and attempting to place the building down; the model does not show (The model does have physical properties though- Stops vehicles/players). Anyone got any ideas or help on this matter? *Update* I have (in desperation) duplicated the structures LOD in OB and set one as Resolution and the other as Geometry, and a third as Volume Shadow. Exporting this and loading it into the game however, only leads back to the same issue as the first attempt. The building is visible, but players and vehicles pass right through it.
Hi, i am a developer of a small arma life server. We have decided to switch to Malden when it comes up and we have started building the server in dev branch to prepare for launch. But we have encountered a problem in that alot of objects on Malden are Apex. Which means in our attempt to build simmilar structures already exist on Malden we have to put out apex object from the Eden editor which will make people who do not own Apex not able to join the server. Espcially annoying is it that most common wall on malden is apex locked which means we cant extend it or even repair broken bits of it with the editor. So my question is, when Malden is released will you be able to play on it even if you dont own apex and we place apex objects and if not are you planning the change that any time soon? Sorry for my broken English.
Hello all, So I built a rather nice structure, using plenty of the Plywood "Shoot House Walls". Now, prior to this last update, it was fine. No scripts, literally just the template in a VR mission. However, when I load it now, there is a problem. In the Editor, it still looks fine. But in game, every shoot house wall has gone from its half / quarter height, all to full height panels. Even corners have gone from half height to full height corners. This only happens when the mission loads, as it stil looks fine in the editor and shows the correct object!
