Ok, so I'm a dunce in terms of scripting so I have no idea how complicated this will end up being. I've got a SP mission I'm working on. It's finished for the most part, but I want to put a cinematic outro like this. Player and AI squad all get in a boat screen fades to black then fades back into a cutscene (basically the cutscene at the end of the survive portion of the campaign) screen fades back to black after cutscene and mission ends I tried getting it set up in the Outro section of the editor but apparently, that's wrong and I need to use scripts. So would anyone know how I can go about doing this?
So I've made a scenario, then went over to the outro tab and set up my outro, and then made a script for my cameras, and after testing the outro, everything went exactly how I wanted it to go. But then I realized I had no idea of how to make the outro play. I made a trigger at the end to finish the mission, but whenever I triggered it it took me straight to debriefing. Also, whenever the outro ended, rather than stopping where it was supposed to, the camera reset to a 3rd person view of the model. How exactly would I get my scenario to go from game to outro, and my outro to stop rather than continue for eternity?
I would like to know if it is possible to show the persons name with the highest score on the screen at the end of my mission. My mission ends with a countdown module and there is an option under "End type after countdown gets to 0" stating "player with the best score wins." I want to know if there is a way I can show that person with the highest score on my outro camera before the mission ends. (I have my mission set to end shortly after my outro camera is done doing its shots.) I am a major noob to scripting and making missions so if you know how to do what I am asking then, if possible, please explain in detail what exactly you did. Thanks in advance.
