TheRealAscension posted a topic in ARMA 3 - ZEUSAs we all already know, zeus is able to manually use the Arsenal functionality in-game to give specific infantry units specific equipment and kits, which is good. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the zeus is unable to modify any values on vehicles. Many vehicles have a lot of variations with equipment like slat cages, or different Camo patterns. I am requesting that the "Zeus" mode in public servers gains an ingrained ability to go into the "Virtual Garage" when the zeus uses either the Arsenal module on a vehicle or a new type of module designed for vehicles. A lot of these assets are in the game but go completely unused, and it would allow for more creativity and game play value in-game.
Weirdly, Zeus cannot spawn the USS Liberty static ship added on the Encore update, it's not even listed on the Static Ships section, only the HMS Proteus shows up. This has been an issue ever since the Encore update hit. Could we get a fix or a reason as to why we cannot spawn it? I'm not even sure if the devs are aware of this issue.
First off I'd like to commend BI on designing a pretty well made multiplayer mode. I had the chance to hop on the official servers and play with a decently large group of people and the experience was very good. The game mode's freedom plus hardcore aspects (no respawns) causes players to play with a decently realistic and tactical approach. My main feedback lies in the spectator mode. As it currently stands, spectator is mildly bugged and is capable of being abused. Since comms do not seem to be limited between alive and dead people, players are able to use spectator mode to spy on the enemy teams and relay that information back to their own team after they die and are in spectator. As I believe the inclusion of spectator is important I propose the following changes: On all servers regardless of difficulty settings, spectator should be locked to your own team only. If your entire team is dead, spectator should be locked to your base location to prevent one team from helping the other. On veteran servers, spectator should be locked to first person view only On regular/recruit servers spectator should be switchable between first and third person only Currently there is some sort of bug where when you first enter spectator you are allowed a free camera spectator mode that disappears if you switch to a third person or first person camera. I believe this was unintentional and should be patched away. I think the mode could also do with more varied locations. Having just one primary AO makes the mission a bit stale after several play throughs.
majoh posted a topic in ARMA 3 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERSHello, I've been trying to play some Apex Protocol on the official servers, unfortunately almost all of them are running the first episode. I'm on episode four, but there seem to be no way of selecting that episode...? If I host a game myself I can select episodes 1-4, but nobody is joining my server. I've tried to select the correct episode by running `#missions` but that just throws me out of the server and if I join back it is still on the first episode. I'd appreciate some pointers on how to play the fourth episode on the official Apex Protocol servers.
