Here the talking is about a script originally used in Dynamic Combat Ops missions by Dear mr. mbrdmn update: Dear scripters please help) I've took some folders with scripts from original DRO mission with sunday revive system, but faced another problem.. ma.ybe I took something wrong or run it not at proper manner, I've already broke my head :( Script only works fine at singleplayer/editor and only for me in multiplayer as I am a host, my friends cant revive anybody (not AI not me), but I can revive everyone, even friends. so I get stucked...... The problem is how to run this script properly when I host game with my friends so the script sohuld work perfect for everybody. so both my test mission and original from wehere I got the script is here in google drive Any help will be appreciated, thanks guys
  2. Hey all, I am currently running a X Files crossed with Special Forces themed event server and I was wanting to use ambient light source to give the below affect in a forest. Can I use the setLightAmbient syntax for this affect? I have had a look at the setLightAmbient wiki page, but have not figured it out. Is anyone able to give us hand or have any ideas? Regards, TPM
  3. OFPS is looking to integrate ARSENAL into BECTI. We have had great success using custom mods like CUP. However, the amount of GEAR we have now is INSANE. Our 3.5 year old gear menu that was developed by BENNY just isn't up to the task. We would like to use arsenal as a replacement. Here's what I'd like to know from you experienced scripters: 1. Is it possible to load arsenal and not go into the virtual arena? I'd like to load the menu but keep the player in the battle space he's in. 2. Is it possible to allow a player to access gear based on a team's upgrade level, assign a cost to every piece of equipment, and check that a player has that cash before granting him access to the gear? 3. Anyone here have talent with sqf scripting and would like to help us (OFPS/BECTI) implement this? :) Thanks! -SS
  4. Hey all, I need some help with creating a trigger which produces an image on the players screen for a few seconds and plays some sound affects. Trying to produce a hallucination or flashback affect. What I think needs to happen is have in the trigger (on activation) null = [] execVM "images\flashback.sqf"; playmusic "example1"; or playsound "example1"; But I am not sure what to put in the flashback.sqf to make the image display. I am new to scripting so any help would be awesome. Peace TPM
  5. I am making a mission where I have 2 AI + the player himself in a boat driving towards the shore. When at the shore I need them all to board a hatchback. Whatever I try I can't get this stupid AI to do the right thing. I've tried the most common option: unit1 assignAsCargo [car1]; unit1 orderGetIn true; Unfortunatly this doesn't work. The AI just keeps sitting in the boat. If I add the orderGetOut command first they DO get out of the boat but then just walk a bit around. When I make one of the AI's group leader, they hop out of the boat, walk around and then order me to get in the boat instead of the car. I also tried it with waypoints but that gave the same results. Does anyone know how I can get this to work? At the moment I am so frustrated of the AI that I just want to teleport them in. But that would not look very nice.

  7. Hello everyone. I am trying to make a Multiplayer mission where people have to get teleported into a vehicle. I got a Blackfish called "unit1" flying, and I want every player in the server to be teleported into that vehicle. I have tried many different command but nothing seems to work. I thought "moveInCargo" should work, but that only works on local units, not remote units. Things that I tried: {_x action ["getInCargo", unit1]} foreach allPlayers Player1 moveInCargo [unit1, 1]; Player2 moveInCargo [unit1, 2]; Player3 moveInCargo [unit1, 3]; Player4 moveInCargo [unit1, 4]; Player5 moveInCargo [unit1, 5]; Player6 moveInCargo [unit1, 6]; Whatever I try, only me (The host) gets teleported into the vehicle. Other players don't. Does someone know how to make this work?
  8. Hello, Today i am asking if any advanced scripters are happy to take on the job of helping to create a Altis Life 'Like' variant. I wish to create a user friendly and mod friendly Life framework that is free to use. Features include the normal altis life like features: Cops, Civs, Federal Reserve, shops etc. Some of the features i want this framework to include in the default build are: Dynamic Economy and Market system, Custom Textured Phone/Tablet, Local Banks as well as the federal reserve up for robbery. It will also an inbuilt admin panel which will have multiple uses such as; comping players, banning and kicking (maybe), whitelisting (maybe), teleporting, godmode and a vehicle and weapon spawn system. This project will be 100% FREE, only that i ask that you leave the crediting in the files. Their are currently a Head Developer spot which i will give to a veteran scripter who can manage the overall development. I will just manage content of the mission file. Notes for anyone who is thinking of becoming a developer: Since i am looking to get skilled scripters any previous work would be great.
